Internships
The Lightbox is a new £7 million contemporary gallery and museum in Woking, Surrey. The landmark building was designed by Marks Barfield, creators of the London Eye, and opened to the public in September 2007.
The Lightbox internships offer an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment and to increase your skills and confidence. Placements are voluntary but we will ensure that you gain a broad range of experience. Our interns are mentored by a permanent member of staff, who will discuss your personal development and career path with you.
Interns work with our small and friendly team for approximately 3 months. We are normally happy to accept interns on a full or part-time basis. Travel expenses will be paid.
Please note that these placements may require some evening and weekend work.
If you are interested in an internship with us, please check the website for updated information or contact the Visitor Services Manager, jayne.pritchard@thelightbox.org.uk
