The Surrey Open Art Competition 2010
Have you got the Art-factor?
The Surrey Open Art Competition invites artists of all levels in Surrey to enter to have their work displayed in the Surrey Open exhibition. The exhibition will be held in the Main Gallery and will showcase the diverse range of prolific artistic talent in the county.
A panel of judges will decide the best entries to be displayed in the exhibition and will select a winner who will receive an award of £500. Members of the public will also be able to choose their favourite artwork and vote for the winner of a £250 People’s Prize.
The competition is open to all levels of ability, from amateur artists to art students and professionals. Almost all disciplines are welcome including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, digital print, mixed media and video.
The first Surrey Open was a great success. The Lightbox received many entries and the exhibition had fantastic media coverage.
