This exhibition reveals a picturesque view of Surrey nearly 200 years ago through beautiful watercolours by father and son artists John and Edward Hassell.
Transmitter/Receiver: The Persistence of Collage, from the Arts Council Collection

This innovative exhibition traces the use of collage in British art and brings together famous British artists who have used the medium. Featuring artists such as Grayson Perry, Ben Nicholson, Eduardo Paolozzi, Richard Hamilton, Patrick Caulfield and Chris Ofili.
The Ingram Collection: A Diamond Jubilee Exhibition

The accession of the Queen to the throne in 1952 brought about an optimistic age when British artists began to gain international exposure and recognition. In celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this exhibition will explore the work of some of the UK’s most eminent artists in the 1950s through sculpture, painting and works on paper.
Surrey Open Art Exhibition

The Art of Design: Kenwood in the Kitchen

After registering ‘Kenwood’ in a Woking workshop in 1947 and launching the A100 Turnover Toaster and A200 Food Mixer, Kenneth Wood developed his company into an international household name. This exhibition explores his success and how advances in technology impacted on the social and cultural landscape of 1950s Britain.
The Ingram Collection: Dreams & Nightmares
22 May – 15 July 2012
Come and discover the weird and wonderful world of dreams and nightmares where the unreal is imagined. Share the visions, sometimes fearful and surreal, of twenty-five of the UK’s leading visual artists, covering the period from the beginning of the 20th Century to the present day. Featured artists will include Tristram Hillier, Edward Burra, Michael Ayrton, Elisabeth Frink, Peter Howson and Lynn Chadwick.
The Ingram Collection: Celebrating Football
17 July – 23 September 2012
This exhibition will showcase works by Modern British and contemporary artists and will explore the nation’s love affair with the ‘beautiful game’. Through paintings, prints and sculptures, the artworks evoke the experiences of fans on the terraces, players on the pitch, goals being scored and Wembley at night.
Mummies to Motorbikes: 150 Years of Culture, Collecting and Commerce

Discover how one site has altered and influenced the history of Woking. From 1865 – 1996 The Royal Dramatic College, The Oriental Institute, Martinsyde Ltd and James Walker Ltd were all based on the site that is currently known as The Lion Retail Park in Woking. From Royal connections, to world cultures and technological advances, find out how these four organisations influenced the history of Woking.
The Ingram Collection: Still Point by Suki Chan

Still Point is an exciting new work by contemporary artist Suki Chan produced in conjunction with Executive Producer Chris Ingram. Using film and sound Still Point will focus on sacred sites in the UK and abroad and explores the act of journeying to these destinations of pilgrimage.
Diamond Jubilee Celebration: Photographs of HM The Queen

In celebration of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this exhibition of portraits of The Queen will feature both official and less formal images throughout her reign, seen through the lenses of the renowned photographers Cecil Beaton, Lord Lichfield and Lord Snowdon.
