Our lift is currently out of service and a team of lift Engineers are busy working on it, we are awaiting a pair of replacement guide rails which have to be manufactured specifically for us. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Opening times
Tuesday – Saturday: 10.30am – 5pm
Sunday: 11am – 5pm
Closed Mondays, including Bank Holidays.
FREE entry
Entrance to The Lightbox is free. A charge is made for some temporary exhibitions.
Palette Bistro
Palette offers great coffee and teas, delicious cakes baked on the premises and fresh, seasonal dishes throughout the day.
Tuesday to Saturday: 10.30am – 5.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am - 5.00pm (Sunday Roasts available between 12.00pm - 3.00pm)
Closed Mondays, including bank holidays.

Take a really close-up look at the architecture of the building, enjoy views of Woking from various different angles and find out why certain decisions were made.
How to find us
The Lightbox is situated in Woking town centre and is easily accessible by train, car and bus.
Access and Facilities
Guide and hearing dogs are welcome at The Lightbox. Induction loops are fitted throughout. Limited disabled parking is available on site.
All areas of the building are both wheelchair and pushchair friendly, with access by lift to all floors. There are accessible toilets on every level and baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor.
